As a Non-Profit, Calvary United Church is completely sustained by the generosity of its congregation and the community. For that, we are extremely grateful! There are many ways to support the ongoing ministry of Calvary United Church:
WEEKLY SUNDAY OFFERINGS
Cash or Cheque - are always accepted and appreciated.
Donation Envelopes - Envelope Requests can be made through the Church Office.
E-Transfers - Please send E-Transfers to [email protected]
Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR) - Many people use PAR for their church offering, finding it a convenient way to take care of their regular commitments to the church. First, decide the amount of your monthly offering. Second, fill in the Authorization Card and attach a sample cheque from your account marked "VOID". Third, give both to the church office or place on the offering plate. PAR Donations can be cancelled at anytime upon request.
Advantages of PAR - Regular support of your church in the amount that you choose, and continual support of your home church when you are away. For the congregation, it ensures a regular, dependable flow of contributions and reduces paperwork and bookkeeping.
Credit Card Donations - Donations by Credit Card are handled through CanadaHelps.org. Please use this form.

PLANNED GIVING
Gift of Cash - Donations of cash amounts to your church will provide you with a charitable tax receipt for the full amount gifted. You may wish to carry the receipt forward or use any amount of the receipt for a period of up to five years. You or your spouse can use the charitable receipt.
Gifts in Kind - Your gift may be a Gift in Kind such as artwork, jewelry, etc.
Gift as Bequest - You can designate a specific amount or a percentage of your estate to Calvary United Church. Your estate will be issued a charitable tax receipt for the full amount of your gift.
Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR) - A gift of a monthly remittance to the Planned Giving Fund or the Endowment Fund. This would be a generous addition to an existing PAR for your monthly offerings.
Gift of Retirement Savings Plan, Retirement Income Fund and Tax Free Savings Proceeds - Gifts of RRSP, RRIF, and TFSA proceeds will be accepted, and a receipt will be issue for the donation.
Gift of Publicly Traded Securities, Stocks, or Bonds - As an alternative to cash, you can donate publicly traded securities, such as stocks and bonds, to Calvary United Church. A charitable tax receipt will be issued to you for the full amount.
Gift of Real Estate - A gift of real estate may be made to Calvary United Church. There are specific guidelines that pertain to gifts of real estate.
Gift of Life Insurance Policy - Gifts of Life Insurance may be accepted, whether new, partially paid or fully paid up. You may wish to designate a specific amount or a percentage of an existing life insurance policy to Calvary United Church, Your estate will be issued a charitable tax receipt when the gift is realized. You can also purchase a life insurance policy and designate CUC as beneficiary.
